Pittsburgh events Feb 1-7

Thanks for a great week Pittsburgh. A lot of different events went on, and almost everybody was in a good mood everywhere! Let's just stop and thank 222 Ormsby for an amazing night Thursday with the Star Fucking Hipsters. I haven't felt that happy in a packed, sweaty show where people were excited and dancing in a long time. Diamonds debuted on Thursday at New Amsterdam, and I can see it's gonna be a good, chill Thursday to listen to music you wouldn't be able to anywhere else. YinzerParty bid farewell to Brandon Kelly on Friday, who's been an awesome friend and supporter from the beginning. Aaaand I think he's going to try and have sex with Brian Austin Green while he works on Transformers in LA. Saturday's event "All Crapped Out" blew me away! The artwork was great, but best of all was the support from so many people. It's great to see Pittsburgh loving an event like that. YinzerParty designed an awesome toiletseat and used it as a traveling photo prop, so be sure to check out all the pics.

2010 Has finally settled in, probably because there's so much gearing up for THE VALENTINE'S DAY PUDDING MASSACRE!!!! Remember to mark calendars for the Feb 12th Date. There are 14 girls this year, so get your votes in now for who will take home the cash prize.

As for this week, it's one of the best holidays of the year: Groundhog Day. Since Gobler's Knob no longer likes booze, check out all the shit going on during the week in Pittsburgh to prove you can still party.

As usual, Monday is for Meatball's and a spelling bee at Lava Lounge, and it is Old School Hip Hop night at Tiki. Tuesday is trivia night at Jaggerbush, Service Spindustry night at Belvederes, and a special edition of Rock-n-Roll Bingo at the Tiki Lounge. THERE WILL BE A GROUNDHOG. and half priced drinks!! cheap night. Wed is pub quiz night at Brillobox, open mic night at the Smilling Moose, Funk Night at Lava Lounge, and 99 cent coronas at 1311. Thursday is 80's night at Belvederes and Friday is the Unblurred gallery crawl on Penn Ave. Check out the Read More section for even more awesome things going down.
